Templum Satyrorum

The ‘Temple of Satyrs’ is a society of gay male witches, blending sexuality with the worship of greek deities Pan and Hekate. Lust and desire are driving forces behind our spells and enchantments. Magical rites and rituals that celebrate gay male sexuality, and devotion to Pan and Hekate are currently under revision and will be available soon. Devotees are to be known as Satyrus Templi, or Satyrs of the Temple.

The five sacred tenants of this practice are Sacred Lust, Sacred Sorcery, Sacred Power, Sacred Wisdom and Sacred Sovereignty.

SACRED LUST: Lust is viewed as sacred and powerful. Likewise, it is a tangible force that can be directed towards spellwork and magical rituals. In this tradition, lust and lechery are embraced and encouraged. Give in to temptation, surrender to lust and be empowered. Orgasm and sexuality are pathways to the divine.

SACRED SORCERY: We are a group of gay male witches, using witchcraft to bring our desires into reality. Through the manipulation of natural forces (magick) and communion with the sacred divine (theurgy), we can influence reality to bring positive change and fulfillment.

SACRED POWER: We embrace our personal power as gay male witches. We are grounded and centered in our connection to nature and the divine. We are powerful and strong in our identity. We are not victims, we are champions and conquerors.

SACRED WISDOM: We are devoted to the study of magick and witchcraft, as well as deepening our connections to Pan and Hekate. Through our personal studies and interactions with deity, we become wiser and better able to reflect that wisdom out to the world through service and teaching.

SACRED SOVEREIGNTY: In this practice, we are self-governed, unbound by manmade ‘redes’ and ‘threefold laws’. We take responsibility for our own actions, and live by our own personal codes and standards.
